OUR STORY
STINKWRINKLE.COM
Putting the "ass" in "class" since 2019
OUR FOUNDING STORY
It all started on a Tuesday in 2019, in a cramped apartment in St. Louis, Missouri. Our founder, Heywood Jablowme, was doom-scrolling through his phone when it buzzed with a text from his friend Betty—a free-spirited yoga instructor with zero filter and a legendary sense of humor.
The message simply read: "new profile pic, whatcha think?"
It was, indeed, a photograph of Betty's butthole. Artistic lighting. Professional composition. Museum-quality balloon knot.
Heywood laughed so hard he snorted his Bud Light across the room. But then he looked closer. There was something... iconic about it. The symmetry. The confidence. The sheer audacity. This wasn't just a balloon knot—it was a statement.
He ran to his closet, fired up his ancient sticker printer, and made one 3-inch vinyl decal. Just one. He slapped it on his laptop and headed to the coffee shop.
By noon, three strangers had asked where they could buy one. By Friday, he'd sold 200 stickers out of his backpack. By the end of the month, StinkWrinkle.com was born.
The name? Betty's autocorrect had once changed "wrinkle" to "stinkwrinkle" in a group chat, and it stuck. Like the stickers.
THE TEAM
Heywood Jablowme — Founder & Chief Wrinkle Officer
The visionary who saw a balloon knot and thought "brand opportunity." Heywood handles the big picture, supplier relationships, and insists on personally quality-testing every new product "for structural integrity."
Betty Phucker — Creative Director & Original Wrinkle
The butthole that launched a thousand ships. Betty oversees product design, ensures brand authenticity, and continues to provide fresh content (with consent and compensation—this is a union balloon knot).
Barry McOckiner — Social Media Manager
The viral genius who turned a novelty sticker into a movement. Barry manages our Instagram, TikTok, and Twitter presence with the kind of enthusiasm you'd expect from someone with his name.
Hugh Janus — Community Engagement Manager
Hugh handles customer relations, fan mail, and our popular "Wrinkle of the Week" spotlight series. He's the people person who makes sure every customer feels seen, heard, and slightly scandalized.
OUR MISSION
To put that balloon knot on everything.
But seriously—StinkWrinkle exists to celebrate body positivity, bathroom humor, and the undeniable truth that butts are funny. We're not just selling stickers; we're selling confidence. Self-acceptance. The radical idea that you can take something society says is "gross" or "private" and turn it into art, comedy, and conversation.
We believe:
- Everyone deserves to laugh at themselves
- Body shame is the real stinker
- A well-placed balloon knot sticker can improve any object
- St. Louis was the only city where this could have started
MILESTONES
2019 — The Original Incident. Betty's text. Heywood's epiphany. 200 stickers sold from a backpack in St. Louis.
2020 — Launched StinkWrinkle.com from Heywood's apartment. Sold out of inventory in 48 hours during the lockdown when everyone decided they needed balloon knot stickers for their home offices.
2021 — Expanded product line: Balloon Knot enamel pins, air fresheners (scent: "Fresh Cotton"), and the controversial face mask.
2022 — Hit 100,000 units sold. Featured in VICE, The Onion, and inexplicably, a 3-minute segment on NPR's Morning Edition. Not really.
2023 — Moved operations to a proper warehouse space in St. Louis. Still operating 100% online—no storefront, just pure e-commerce.
2024 — Hit 250,000 units sold. Betty's balloon knot has now graced laptops, water bottles, car bumpers, and at least one casket (RIP Uncle Ray, you legend). We might have exaggerated these numbers.
2025 — Still proudly based in St. Louis, shipping nationwide, staying true to our roots.
THE WRINKLE PROMISE
Every product is printed on high-quality vinyl, waterproof and weatherproof, because a balloon knot should last. We keep our prices low and our standards high—no charitable donations, no corporate guilt trips, just quality butthole merchandise at fair prices.
